Patented X-TEX^®, produced by the Xextex Corporation USA, is a new and unique non-polar lipophilic, hydrophobic media that FILTERS AND REMOVES OIL AND SEDIMENT FROM WATER.  X-TEX is an EPA classified sorbent material with a multitude of environmental applications. In manufacturing X-TEX, recycled polymer fibers are converted into a lightweight fiber mass with enormous surface area and microscopic interstitial spaces.
