Patented X-TEX®, produced by the Xextex Corporation USA, is a unique invention; a non-polar, lipophilic, hydrophobic media that FILTERS AND REMOVES OIL, OIL SHEEN AND SEDIMENT FROM WATER.  X-TEX is an EPA classified sorbent material with a multitude of environmental applications. In manufacturing X-TEX, 100% recycled polymer fibers are converted into a lightweight fiber mass with enormous surface area and microscopic interstitial spaces.
